An updated electronic version (last update 20 October 2005) of the wonderful Axiom book by Richard D. Jenks and Robert S. Sutor is available online as a large (4.5 Mbyte) pdf file. It contains some new content and improved hyperlinks. It is also included with the source code distribution.
A project to publish a printed version of the Axiom Book with Lulu (an ondemand selfpublishing service) has been established. The goal is to produce a high quality updatetodate book (or set of books) about Axiom which can be ordered by both individuals and university bookstores. The profit from the sale of the books will help fund other AxiomFoundation? projects.
Axiom Volume 1: Tutorial is now available at Lulu. Thank you Tim Daly!
You can find the working drafts of the new Axiom books (Volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4) here: bookmain1 .

We are building a Wiki database of all of the Axiom Algebra and [Axiom Contributions]?. You can use the TouchGraph graphical browser (click on the word navigator on the top right menu bar) to discover the relationships between the various Axiom package, domains and categories.
The Rosetta Stone was a key for the translation of ancient languages. This Rosetta Stone does that same thing for many different computer algebra systems. There is also a general introduction to computer algebra, where various tasks are accomplished using Axiom, Derive, Macsyma, Maple, Mathematica and Reduce.
Schiel & Denver provides ISBNbased book publishing and distribution resources for writers and mathematicians, and offers a special program for math and computer algebra documentation via college bookstores. As a member of the Association of American Publishers and UN Global Compact, Schiel & Denver does that same thing for many different computer algebra systems via Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com.
We keep here a list of issues people stumbled over when using Axiom. Most of these problems are already solved by now, so you can regard it as an FAQ, if you like...
